Frank Pendleton is a retired Principal Scientist and Program Manager who spent decades leading complex national security projects, managing budgets, coaching teams, and delivering results under pressure — including deployments to conflict zones and disaster response.
A lifelong conservative, Frank served as Chairman of a community credit union board that grew from a church basement to a thriving multi-branch institution. He understands the challenges facing Platte County families: rising costs, protecting our kids, and making sure our rapid growth doesn’t leave us behind.
Frank will fight wasteful spending, cut taxes, empower parents, keep our neighborhoods safe, and secure our fair share of infrastructure dollars.

Make the Northland a Better Place to Live and Raise a Family. It is time to make better choices with common sense solutions. We are failing our children — half of our future can’t read, write or do math at grade level. We are losing sight of the American Dream.
Taxes must be reduced. Excessive codes, regulations and taxation that increase prices must be repealed. Our elderly should not be taxed out of their homes. Young couples should be able to afford a starter home. No one should be forced to decide between food and medicine. We will use outcome-based budgeting to cut wasteful spending and shift from last year's budget + inflation to rigorous, data-driven decisions.
Child safety must be non-negotiable. Protect the unborn — life begins at conception. Protect young bodies from medical and social experimentation (support ending transgender care for minors and biological sex in sports). Develop critical thinking rather than indoctrination. Teaching language, math and critical thinking skills must be the objective — through School Choice, returning rights to parents, shifting funding from administration to the classroom, and deploying experienced educators to mentor new teachers. Half of our future can’t read, write or do math at grade level!
Crime is worsening in the Northland!! It may be getting better elsewhere, but you know it, I know it and the statistics know it. Reform our juvenile justice system — don’t ruin a life over a childhood mistake but teach consequences for bad behavior. Anything less produces the next generation of criminals. Fully fund and support police and first responders. Provide enough officers in our community to deter crime and catch criminals. Mandate truth in sentencing. Provide adequate prison beds. Excusing bad behavior exacerbates crime and holding people accountable diminishes it.
